Montreal Mystique Interviews Howie Meeker (I of II)

May 31, 2009, by Homme De Sept-Iles

On Thursday, Montreal Mystique spoke at length with Howie Meeker about the Canadiens, hockey strategy, players, coaches and the state of hockey then and now. At 86 years of age, Meeker remains candid, vibrant and precise in his comments and assessments. This first of two interviews was 90 minutes but could have gone on for far longer than that. Howie Meeker remains a great story-teller and proponent of the game he loves. Montreal Mystique is proud to have had this opportunity and hope you enjoy this first podcast interview of what will be a regular weekly feature.
