The Diachronic Barber Pole Observations of a Recovering Hockey Exile

Satan’s Choice

August 27, 2009, by Homme De Sept-Iles

a rink, a town of souls and a cold game
                                               we could never
                                                      win
  tied tail
                                was
    (worse than) rubber melting
           in a diseased sun

      stench and thrall

he was the town’s greatest hero
and I think he gave his soul so we could
              have a rink
