In days forgotten, the greats named their weapons. Norse god Thor had his hammer Mjolnir, Shiva’s divine bow Pinaka was legendary and King Arthur’s Excalibur may be the sword for all ages.
In today’s hockey, we see corporate and cosmopolitan letters on the game’s weapons. The hockey stick could be a Titan, a Koho or a Sherwood. But what if today’s players named their blades or, better, had them named in their honour? Montreal Mystique takes that liberty again today:
