The Enforcer and the Door
August 29, 2010, by Homme De Sept-Iles
Adapted from Aesop’s Fables
A slithery, bearded Bruin in the course of his exiled wanderings turned down the hallway of an old arena. As he tromped over the floor he bumped into a doorway and was jarred out of balance. In a rage he turned round upon it and tried to dart his fangs into it; but he could do no harm to heavy iron and had soon to give over his wrath.
Moral: It is useless attacking the insensible
